At the beginning of the week, I both left my coding school and kicked off this software development study group. There was a conference that I attempted to attend Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. Today, was my son's birthday.
The school I left was taking up a lot of space in my life. I moved important things aside to make that work. Part of why it didn't work was I lost my access to trusted childcare. For many reasons leaving is bittersweet. I am relieved to have my life back though. I believe I made the right decision to leave.
This study group is already awesome. I am loving how diverse a group we are. We each bring a valuable and unique perspective. I see greatness in this group of people!
